The day started out with great temps: 65. We get set for the day. Perfect temp for riding.
We road about 30 minutes down the road and Ken was watching radar and said looks like we are heading in for rain. Everyone pulled over and put on rain gear. Took pic of everyone and caught Ken giving Jenny a little smooch. LOL

Riding in rain gear, most are pretty visible in the florescent colors.
After getting all the gear on, we ended up with maybe 100 drops. I would rather be dry, so all good.
As we head down St. Rt. 60, it is nice road, and not much traffic. BUT now we get lots of wind. I have seen worse but it was jerking my head around a bit. Larry even made a comment, "Are we in Kansas?"
When we are on the Run, we have 2 kinds of platoons : Staggered and Side by Side.
Staggered: so as we head down the road, the bikes are off set (see pics above)

In a Side by Side: the bikes are next to each other. This is a little bit tougher to ride and you really need to focus. Once the wind died down a bit, we road most the rest of the day Side by Side. This is great practice to get us ready for next week.

The sights were a bit different from yesterday. Lots of farmer yesterday, but today tons of pastures full of cows, and some horses. Green fields and with the sun out, it was beautiful.Stopped in Oklahoma City for the evening. It was 91 degrees. Last 2 legs were pretty warm and we are not even in the desert yet. :-)
Keep all those riding to CA for the Run in your thoughts and prayers for safe travels.
Total Miles = 480
Temps = 68 - 91
Route = St. Rt. 60 to I 44
Stopped in Oklahoma City
