Sep 7, 2020 - National Park Ride - Broomfield CO to Rapicd City SD

Today was a very early day.  Looks like rain and weather in the 40 going to Rapid City.  We got up at 5:30 and on the road by 6:30. Rain was supposed to be in Rapid City by about 1;00 and we wanted to beat it.

It was 57.  But unlike the other days we added layers thru the day. Here are a few pics.  Not much to see.  Everything was pretty flat.

Here is the sun rise.  It was bright red.

Courtney had to go back to work on Tuesday so she flew out this morning.  Jerry is missing her so Ron moved him up to the back seat.  He looked so sad. LOL

Remember the fence I showed last week, well this is the same but there are trees with them.  Interesting.

Lots of fields with cow. still.

Head into South Dakota.  OOPS. kind of missed the sign.  Happens sometimes going 65 MPH.

Started looking like rain in the distance.  Stopped and geared up in rain gear.  All electronics put away.
We got within 6 miles of Rapid City and it started to rain.  It was close to 1:00.    Rest of the day was watching a few movies.... pretty boring.  Hoping tomorrow is better.

Miles : 389
Temps: 57-45
Route: I25, SR85,18,79
Destination: Rapid City, SD
