We now have 599 registered. WOW!!! We had 10 platoons when we left Ontario. We now have 11.
One thing I forgot to mention, we had one of our guys run out of gas about 1/2 mile from the gas station yesterday. I will not mention any names Tim. LOL
We did have a surprise. Lt Wicker and about 12 active service men rode with us today. Several were from Ft. Knox
We also had a few more join us from Ohio: Jim, The Chief, Marianne and Bill Meyer, Stacy Wene, Denise Burnett also joined, but not in pic.
First stop: Robley Rex VA Center. The staff is always so excited to see all the bikes. Several of the patients want to ride the bikes. Great reception. This was named after Rex Robley who died at 107. He was a WWI veteran that started to volunteer at the age of 78.
Parking is a bit tight.
I think I heard some where that Nathan got a road name: Guppy?

As traffic was stopped to allow us on the ramp, check out the guy in the middle of the picture.

The Fairfield Harley chapter showed up in Frankfort.
We raised over $500 for the kids in Rainelle. Thanks Fairfield HOG!!!!!
We have been gone for 14 day. Long time to be away from the family. I am sure Brian loved seeing Diane.
This is a sundial in Frankfort, KY. Here is an explanation of how thiw works:
The veterans whose names are listed on this Memorial fought and died for the same values that inspired their ancestors since the Revolutionary War - life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. The blue-gray granite plaza of the Memorial contains the names of Kentucky’s 1103 citizens who died. Each name is precisely located so the shadow of the sundial pointer, touches each veteran’s name on the anniversary of his death. Thus, each individual is honored with a personal tribute.
- Where the shadow is, these are the ones that died that day that hour
Another great park job by the staging crew. Organized chaos.
RFTW allowed Brian ( normally a tail gunner) to lead the platoon into and out of the Vietnam Verterans Memorial that day. Pretty cool how all these bikes move out so smoothly.
Larry and Jean (thanks Ed for sending me the pic)
On to Mt Sterling for a great reception and lunch.
Heading to Hurricane, WV
Beautiful windy roads.

Fairfield Fire, here is your chief. He looks pretty focused right? Well he is. Tight formation and running pretty fast, you have to stay on top of the game. He did a great job !!
Love the kids!!
Flags have been raised
