Met with Larry's brother

Larry's Brother served in Vietnam in 1966. He was shot severely in 1967 and spent one year in Walter Reed Hospital.  His words : " I came in on a stretcher and I WALKED out!!!"  He showed us that he was very proud of that fact.   He is truly amazing and we are very proud of him.  He showed us his purple heart and bronze star.  I have attached the pictures.

Larry, his 2 brother (Glenn and Ed) and sister,  Terrie, have a great sense of humor. They love to laugh and tell jokes. You would not believe how long it took to get 1 good picture. Life is what you make of it and the 4 of them enjoy life to the fullest.

Glenn's wife, Diann, is amazing and the 2 of them work on crafts together, volunteer, and travel.
Glenn asked that Larry carry a few items with him during his journey: his hat, "Gault"name tag, "Tunnel Rat" pin and "Wolf Hound" pin.  We will carry this, remember him and his service as we travel our journey to the Vietnam wall.

Thanks God for Glenn and all the service men.

We start our trip to California on May 7th. The actual "Run For The Wall" starts on May 13th.   I am sure I will have many more stories and will try to share many of them with you along with the pictures.
