October 7, 2022 - Cambridge, MA

 October 7, 2022 - Cambridge, MA

Today was overcast but NO rain.  We headed down the coast to Cambridge MA.  Yesterday's theme was color.  Today is reflections.

Check out the size of this pumpkin:

All of a sudden Larry is laughing. Then I hear Jamie trying to say something but cannot understand him as he is laughing too.  Then I see it.  I guy on an electric bike going up hill at 50 MPH.  He is keeping up with traffic.    They said "nice"..... no helmet, no license plate, ....he was flying....

Traveling the coast to Massachusetts, there are a lot of cool towns.

Still some great color

More reflections.....

Larry noticed several mailboxes on chains.

Finally asked someone.  It is if the plow get too close,
the mailbox will swing and not get knocked off the post.  LOL
But what about the mailman putting the mail in it?

At the end of the day yesterday, Jackie's headset went out.  Larry and Jamie tried to fix it last night but wires were broken.  We looked to see that there is a Harley dealer in Portland, which is on our way to Boston.  So we stop at Big Moose Harley.

Such nice guys.  The headset wire is not used too much anymore.
Well, they found one and she was back in business.  No Charge!!!!

More pics along the coast.

Now we travel to Cambridge.... OMG look at the traffic.
As we got off the highway, it took us 35 minutes to go 2.8 miles.

Our destination was a quaint bed and breakfast that no longer servers breakfast  LOL

Thanks for making the reservations Jenny and wish you were here.

Bed so high, there are steps to get in.  And yes I had to use them

Our room was a pretty good size, then Jackie said to come and see their room.
It is sooo small.  Bed is almost as wide as the room.  We definitely had a good laugh.

The brown door is the bathroom door.

Jamie is trying to go thru it.  OMG.
He better turn sideways so he does not get stuck.

At dinner we notice we were "twinning".

JAMIE:  WHERE IS YOUR RED SHIRT???
You owe Jenny $5......

The pics are supposed to be of famous people.
Well..... we really did not know but 2 or 3 of them.

We all have decided that the next time the bikes move, will be Monday when we leave.  Traffic is crazy

Temps: 51-75
Miles: 206
