May 11, 2019 - Day 6 to Ontario

The day started out 75 degrees and sunny.  We even have a better surprise.  Larry and I were walking down the hall of the hotel and Larry found a poker chip.  It was $100 chip. We are going to have a nice dinner tonight.

As we leave the city, we see the construction of the new Stadium for the Raiders.  It will be ready in 2020. Check out all the cranes .  It was pretty impressive to see.
Heading out of town, we see more clouds and mountains.  I hope you all enjoy the pics.  I sit on the back of the bike and have looked at them for most of the last 6 days. Gorgeous!!!

 Ron
I spot this flag as we head out.  It is saying " I got your back".  Our men and women that have served and those still serving are doing the same.  They are protecting us, they have our back.
I look left... YIKES!  Check out the rain...… it was a nice light show but not liking what we see...
….then I look right....  We are going to get wet...
Looking in front of us, it looks nice.  I ask Larry is we are going to stop and gear up.  Nope!!  what??  He said we will not get the rain.  He showed me the weather radar on the bike.  We are going right through the 2 cells.  Sure enough we stayed dry.  Yeah.

However.... 20-30 miles down the road, we hit a swarm of bees.  I never saw them but heard them.  Whack, whack, whack.... what the heck is that.  Larry had his shield open on his helmet. That quickly got shut but bikes and helmets were a pretty gross mess.  Ooops forgot to get a pick of that one.

Now getting closer to Ontario and we see snow in the mountains.  Beautiful..

I love this pic.  I took it as we were very close to Ontario.  How would you like to see this every morning when you get up?
We arrived at our hotel in Ontario and this was in the lobby.

Run For The Wall = We Ride For Those Who Can't
